21st Birthday Part 1

yea, finally found time and energy to arrange my photos and blog about my birthday…

yeahyeah, let’s start from day 0 of my birthday, which is 22 aug.

yanming and zhenle came over to my house to stay over!

yeah-ness! i was home pretty late from my manicure and pedicure session at bugis, had to make zl wait for me below my block. paiseh! hees. then ym came by later with a box of donutfactory!!! haha. yeah~~ food! muahaha! they started helping my cut the pieces of paper for my guestbook while i go and bathe.

when i got out of the bathroom, i knew something wasnt right coz my room’s light were off… they must be up to something! haha, they hid under the staircase but i didnt even realise when i walk down to the kitchen. so silly. then they sing me a birthday song with a choco donut in a polar puff box which dono how zl coup. muahaha… really really feel blessed man to have them make the effort to celebrate my birthday like that. hees. then we ate the fattening donuts for supper… argh, fatfat!

we started playing bridge with my sister after that… then after which, we play a zhenle version of heart attack which make everyone so anxious and excited… i always rmb zl as someone who likes to play such mind-boggling and jin zhang games… lol. Ahh bo leng!!! muahaha!

so blessed by their presence and help!!! really really, if you are reading this, i am so thankful to have the both of u in W357 the past 3 yrs ever since the cg just started. having sisters like you in the cg is really a blessings, serving God together, going thru different stages of how W357 grow to wat it is now together and growing together from jc to uni.

rants

hmms. just some rants about my birthday before i get my photos from jh and abby to write a birthday post.

hmms… i guess people just come to birthday parties just for food? the quality of the food, classy-ness of your party venue way way overshoots the importance of the birthday girl/boy means to u. or friends ard you don’t mean that much to u afterall? it’s just the food that matters? nvm it’s okay. i accept it, the reality and the way people think. sorry for making any of you who rush down to waste ur petrol. i guess you shld have stayed there longer(maybe you really really preferred staying there, you could haf said and told me directly) so you don’t need to waste ur petrol but can have more those high-class restaurant buffet as compared to mine. i guess most of u are so reluntant to leave that beautiful classy restaurant to come to my HDB apartment. hmmz, just tell me directly that you are not coming bah, instead of giving me that kind of unwilling-to-come look that some gave. it’s really ok.

sadly to say, my very own sister is one of those people. and she kept complaining i didn’t send her an invitation to everyone. FINE!!!! tell me, do u send email to ur sister to chitchat with her? it’s like the same as u don’t send email to your mum telling her to cook dinner for you tonight! like wat the!

disappointed as i am, i learnt the reality of life and the importance of friends to some of the friends i have now to the importance of food and all. no choice, maybe i am really not that important after all as compared to a freshie and all the nice international buffet food but at least now i know. it’s better to know than to be ignorant.

last of all, sorry for making you leave such a great party with good food and all and for wasting your petrol to come all the way to my house. sorry for being blatant.

at least, i am contented to know where i stand in ur hearts. thanks alot.

making lantern

haha… was helping my sister paint her lantern that she needs to hand in urgently. argh! can’t stand her, always do this kind of last min work, doing it on sunday night when she have to hand in on mon. they are supposed to make lanterns with recycled materials. anyways, she alr got her scolding from me le so forget it.

in our case, we used 3 pudding plastic containers and joined them together. then paint it. that’s the best we can come out with given the mere few hours we have before she really needs to sleep.

was scolded by my mum for allowing her to paint black on the lantern, bleahs!
